Little Maya

I took Maya's 2 year pictures this weekend. She is such a doll to work with and has such a great personality and smile. Her mom and dad are awesome parents and Maya is such a wonderful little sweetheart. It was fun taking her pictures.

I did learn one thing .. do not take a toy from a child when you are trying to take their picture. =)

Mohammadi Family

Sunday provided me a new experience with a family of six. This provided me some great challenges and insights, as well as experience in working with a larger group. The Mohammadi family was fun to work with. They are full of laughter with the young kids and beauty of their older daughters.

Rachel

Seniors are so much fun to work with. Rachel was fun, energetic, and photogenic.

Cassie, Madison, Seth

This weekend was a busy weekend for SAK Photography. Three very different sessions with the end results being very different was very challenging.

I started the weekend of photo shoots out with Cassie and her kids, Madison and Seth. They are doing some pictures for gifts for Cassie's husband.

Annie turns 3

Little Annie is growing up! She just turned 3 in September and Sunday we took her 3-year portraits.

I love my girl more than anything. She is such a joy to be a mom to, even when she challenges me. Every year we have attempted to take pictures for her birthday. This year she turned 5. I can't believe she is growing up so beautifully. I feel so lucky to be her mom. Here are a few shots from her "special" photoshoot.

Kacie

Today, Kacie and I did a senior portrait photo shoot. She's about to graduate high school and so we went around town and did some fun shots. She's so photogenic and has a fun personality to capture in pictures.  Here's her sneak peek.

Sammy is such a great little guy. He has such an awesome personality, and I really appreciate his mom's love for him. It was my pleasure to do some holiday pictures for them.

Your portraits are printed on Fujifilm Fujicolor Crystalized Paper.

The Beauty Behind the Belly

Recently I've been asked by a number of people if I do baby bump photography. My short answer is yes. But I can't simply leave you with a short answer.

Pregnancy is so beautiful. Capturing this moment on film is a powerful statement from a soon-to-be mom. It means she's embracing the changes in her body. She's giving herself the visual memory of growing life in her womb. Maternity photos are empowering. A woman's body grows, curves, shadows, and lives all with another life inside. Becoming a mother is challenging and exciting at the same time.  Maternity photos are just one way to show your children the way their mom was as she carried them.

 I would love to photograph your baby bump and expose the beauty behind the belly. I have several packages available for a maternity session. The time frame for your session would be no less than two hours.

The packages range from $250 to $750, your session fee is included in the package. If you have an idea of what you would like to see during your baby bump capture don't hesitate to tell me your vision. All photos are printed on Fuji Film paper with a matte finish.
